A safe place to wrestle and rebuild
Questions you never expected. Grief that shakes your foundations. A distance from God you can’t explain. A faith-centered space to process a crisis of faith with clinical wisdom and real compassion.
A spiritual crisis — sometimes called a crisis of faith, or the dark night of the soul — can be triggered by trauma, loss, betrayal, church hurt, unanswered prayer, infertility, chronic illness, or simply a season where your beliefs feel more complicated than they used to.
You may be afraid to talk about it, worried you’ll be judged, misunderstood, or told to just pray more. Here you don’t have to pretend. We can hold your questions with gentleness and honesty. A faith-centered approach doesn’t rush you toward tidy answers; it makes room for lament, grief, and the slow work of rebuilding trust.
We’ll explore what you’re experiencing emotionally and spiritually, and we’ll also pay attention to how stress and trauma affect your nervous system and your ability to feel safe — both with people and in your relationship with God.
I have supported many women on the verge of, or in the middle of, deconstruction, who needed to explore the intersection between religious trauma and their relationship with Christ. For most, the goal isn’t to abandon faith, but to move from fear and confusion toward something more grounded and more resilient.
If your spiritual life feels fragile right now, you are not failing. You may be in a sacred, painful in-between — one that deserves care and wise companionship.
You are not failing. You may be in a sacred, painful in-between.
“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

How therapy helps
What the work actually looks like
Our work is tailored to you, and may include trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR and parts-based work like IFS, alongside skills for grounding, nervous-system regulation, and healthier boundaries. We move at a pace that honors your story and supports stability.
Trauma therapy is not about reliving the worst moments in graphic detail. It’s about helping your nervous system learn that the danger is over.
What to expect online
Sessions are held over secure telehealth for clients located in Texas. We’ll begin by clarifying your goals, naming what feels most urgent, and building a plan that supports both relief now and healing over time.
