Services for women seeking healing and hope

Faith-centered, trauma-informed psychotherapy for women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and spiritual crisis — offered by secure telehealth across Texas.

Specialties

Support for what you’re facing right now

Care that is both clinically grounded and faith-forward — rooted in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and dependent on the Holy Spirit’s sanctifying guidance.

Trauma therapy

Process painful experiences at a pace that honors your nervous system, so your past stops steering your present — and you come to see your history in an entirely new light.

Anxiety counseling

Get to the root rather than the symptom. We’ll unburden the parts of you that fear the future or struggle to cast your burdens on the Lord.

Depression counseling

Move through the heaviness toward hope and a deeper connection with God — rebuilding daily functioning with evidence-based therapy and faith-sensitive support.

Spiritual crisis

A steady place to bring doubt, grief, anger and hard questions — and to move toward clarity, meaning, and greater intimacy with the Lord.

The approach

Where scripture meets science

Trauma isn’t only what happened to you — it’s also what didn’t happen for you, and what your mind and body had to do to survive it. These are the three approaches I return to most, used together and always with your consent.

EMDR therapy

Helping the nervous system finish what it couldn’t finish at the time — so a memory stops hijacking your day. Trained Level 1, faith-integrative and attachment-focused.

IFS therapy

Getting to know the parts of you that protect, criticise, and hide — and, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, unburdening them so each can reclaim its God-given role. Levels 1 & 2, with Christian adaptations.

Somatic therapy

Trauma is held in the body; somatic work helps it move out and through. The body is always speaking — we listen to what it says, at whatever pace you’re ready for.

What we’ll focus on together

Every story is different. These are the areas that come up most often as we work toward healing and growth.

  • Trauma recovery — stabilisation, processing, and rebuilding a sense of safety
  • Anxiety & overwhelm — calming the nervous system and interrupting worry loops
  • Depression & numbness — reconnecting with energy, meaning, and daily rhythms
  • Boundaries & relationships — healthier patterns, clearer communication, self-compassion
  • Spiritual wounds — room for questions, grief, and honest faith
  • Life transitions — navigating change with steadiness and hope

Questions

Before you reach out

If yours isn’t here, ask it on the free call — that’s exactly what it’s for.

Do you offer online therapy in Texas?

Yes. Through Faith Therapy is telehealth only, for adult women located anywhere in Texas. You’ll need to be physically in Texas at the time of session.

Who do you work with?

Adult Christian women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and seasons of spiritual crisis or doubt — including religious and spiritual trauma, attachment trauma, narcissistic caregivers, emotional neglect, abuse, racial trauma, and generational trauma.

Do I have to be a Christian to work with you?

You are welcome here either way. Most of my clients identify as Christians and want faith-centered care. This is a holistic practice that treats spirituality as integral to health — but if you don’t identify as a Christian, I’ll meet you exactly where you are.

How is faith included in sessions?

That is entirely up to you. In our first session I’ll invite you to share what your walk with the Lord has been like, and we’ll discuss how your faith might support the therapeutic work. It stays an open conversation, and it can change as you do.

What can I expect in the first session?

We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping for. We’ll also cover safety, coping supports, and a plan that feels realistic rather than overwhelming.

What are your rates, and do you take insurance?

Because therapy here is personalised, current rates and availability are best discussed on the free consultation call. You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before beginning — I’ll provide one in writing.

How do I get started?

Use the contact page to request a free 15-minute phone consultation. We’ll talk through what you need, answer your questions, and outline next steps.

The next step

One phone call. No pressure.

Fifteen minutes to ask your questions, say a little about what you’re carrying, and find out whether we’re a good fit. Nothing is decided on that call but whether to have another one.
