What this website collects — and what it does not
This practice does not use a contact form, and this site does not track you across the web. Here is the whole picture.
Last updated September 2026. This policy covers this website only. The separate Notice of Privacy Practices you receive before your first session governs your clinical record.
What this site collects
There is no contact form on this website. That is deliberate: form submissions travel through third-party servers before reaching me, which is not an appropriate route for anything concerning your health. The only way to reach me through this site is by email, which comes to me directly.
Browsing this site does not require you to give any personal information. Like most websites, the web server records standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the time of the request — which is used to keep the site running and secure.
If you email me, I keep that message so I can reply and so I have a record of our initial contact. Please keep clinical detail out of email: email is not encrypted, and it can be read in transit or on any device where your account is open. Anything you need to tell me in detail is better said on the phone or in session.
Correspondence before we begin working together is not protected health information. Once you become a client, your record is governed by HIPAA and by the Notice of Privacy Practices you will be given.
Email list
If you subscribe to updates, your email address is stored by the email service this practice uses to send them. You can unsubscribe from any message, and doing so removes you from the list. Subscribing is not a therapeutic relationship and says nothing about whether you are a client.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets only the cookies WordPress needs to function. It does not run advertising trackers or build a profile of you across other websites.
Your choices
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it, by emailing grace@throughfaiththerapy.com. If you are a client, requests about your clinical record are handled under the Notice of Privacy Practices rather than this policy.
Crisis
This website and its email address are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911.
