Christ Sight is a guided, Christian Internal Family Systems (IFS) practice I created, as a long-time IFS therapist, to help you see yourself the way Christ sees you. I invite you to read on and you’ll find a link to the audio practice at the bottom of this page.
Why I Am So Passionate About Christian IFS Therapy

If you’ve been around here for a while, it’s likely you’ve heard me talk about a Christian adaptation to Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). In my fourteen years of being a therapist, I have yet to find another model like IFS, that so eloquently empowers us as followers of Christ to partner with the Holy Spirit in unburdening the parts of us weighed down by shame or unresolved trauma.
We struggle to be with our own pain without pushing it away or prematurely resolving it. Internal Family System’s unique approach offers a blueprint to help us, as believers, turn toward and be with our own suffering (and sin) in a compassionate way that allows for true healing and resolution- much as Jesus sat with the lepers, the sinners and the outcasts. With this model there is space for us to learn how to be more like Christ, bearing witness to the testimony of each part of us, freeing ourselves up to heal and evolve in our relationship with the Savior.
As you might imagine, liberating our bodies, hearts, and minds from carrying all of this unnecessary baggage frees us to to be more Christlike, bear all the more boldly the fruit of the Spirit, to be more Spirit-led, and to be closer to God. And what better way to share the gospel, than to make an invisible God visible, through our own demeanor, behaviors and actions in this world?
This and more is why I believe that IFS, taken with a Christian and Biblically faithful approach, can support God’s sanctification process for you.
All truth is God’s truth and this model of therapy flat-out works!
I will say, unfortunately, I have found there to be some confusion and misinformation floating around about IFS within some Christian circles. I am in the process of creating a Youtube Video to elaborate more on that, debunk the myths, and expand on what I’ve written here about the profound benefits IFS has for believers. Perhaps, subscribe to our Youtube channel to be notified when that comes out.
The Christ Sight Practice

Christ Sight is a Christian Internal Family Systems practice. Internal Family Systems is a somatic modality- somatic, meaning relating to the body. Somatic practices must speak for themselves- as they involve attuning to the body and relaxing the intellect (pre-frontal cortex) a bit. Therefore, over-explaining them is not useful.
However, I do recognize the importance of you having a general understanding of what the Christ Sight practice entails, to set you up for success. Note: success does not equal perfection or everything going “smoothly.” When somatic practices, specifically IFS practices, are new to you, “doing it right” oftentimes means it won’t feel “smooth” or “easy.” That is a part of the process.
By dropping your information in the Christ Sight box below, you’ll receive two audios in your inbox. The first is the informational audio where I explain the aim of the practice and how to approach it. The second is the practice itself.
I pray this practice contributes to your healing, sanctification and walk with the Lord. May it all be to His glory! Love to you.
